Order Cancellation/Refund Policy

All of our doors, drawer fronts, panels and trim pieces are custom made and custom finished for your unique kitchen design and configuration. Production begins after 24 hours of a completed order submission.

Once you submit your order on the website, the following order cancellation and refund policy applies:

  • Cancel up to 24 hours: No penalty/fee
  • Cancel 24-48 hours: 15% Restocking fee on entire order.
  • After 2 business days: No cancellations. All sales final. 

Warranty

Ricabi warrants all manufactured products for one year from date of shipment. This warranty is good for the construction of all products manufactured by Ricabi with the following exceptions:

  • Doors over 20" wide and 45" in height and slab drawer fronts over 30" in width and 12" in height are not guaranteed against warpage.
  • Doors less than 20" wide and 45" in height and slab drawer fronts less than 30" in width and 12" in height are warranted against warpage of more .25".
  • Flat panel and frame only doors less than 20" wide and less than 40" are warranted against warpage of more than .25".

Ricabi is not liable for damages caused by improper handling or storage. This warranty does not cover any problems related to customer neglect including, but not limited to: storing of unfinished product over an extended time, customer unavailable when product delivered (i.e. left outside per customer instructions). All shortages, incorrect sizes and damage due to shipping must be reported within 2 working days of shipment delivery date.

Finished Products

Ricabi finished products carry a one year warranty against blistering and peeling. Since most finishes tend to exhibit slight changes in color over time, natural discoloration is not covered by the warranty.

Ricabi doors are NOT warranted against cracks in the framing joints caused by natural expansion or contraction of center and raised panels. We manufacture our doors with tight joints and smooth finishes. However, due to the natural characteristics of wood products, you may see evidence of hairline cracks where stiles, rails and center panels are joined over time. This is common of all mortise and tenon joint connections in Shaker and Raised Panel door construction.This is why we always use an engineered board such as High Density MDF for our paint grade panel because it is more dimensionally stable and it will look good for much longer than a solid wood panel. 

Characteristics that are naturally occurring within the wood that fall within Ricabi specifications are not considered to be defects. This may include mineral deposits, sap, burls, pin knots, gum pockets, etc.

Ricabi door and drawer fronts are sized within 1/8" of advertised dimensions. eg. 15Wx40H doors measure 14 7/8W x 39 7/8H in actuality. 1/8" is necessary to leave a 1/16" gap around all sides of the front to allow for easy opening and closing. 

Product Storage

All wood products must be stored in a climate controlled environment (between 60° - 80° F); preferably somewhere in-doors.You are required to follow these guidelines or your product warranty will be considered null and void.

Product Replacement

This warranty covers replacement of the products only. Shipping costs are NOT included with this warranty. Ricabi will assume no responsibility for damage due to customer error or neglect. Additional material costs, labor, installation costs and/or travel costs, as well as related expenditures are not covered by this warranty.
